UP Police SI Notification 2020

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and promotion board will soon release the official notification of UP Sub Inspector for a total of 9500+ posts. The exam has been deferred due to the ongoing covid pandemic, however, now as the lockdown eases the examination will take place soon. The students who have been preparing for the examination can keep a regular tab on the official website.

Eligibility of UP Sub-Inspector
- The age of the candidate applying for the UP SI 2020 should not be more than 28 years and not less than 20 years. The candidates of the reserved category will get some relaxations in the age criteria.
- The students must have completed his graduation in any discipline from any government recognised university.
- The male candidate must be able to complete 2.5 Km distance by running in 12 minutes while the female candidate must be able to cover 1 Km in 6 minutes.
UP SI Exam Pattern
The students applying for the UP SI examination will have to appear for a written examination. The students who clear the written examination with maximum marks will be called in for the physical test and interview.
- The written examination will be conducted in Hindi/English language.
- There will be a total of 160 questions for a total of 400 marks.
- There is no prescribed negative marking for the written examination.
