IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern
The preliminary examination is a computer-based examination which is conducted for 60 minutes. The students are asked questions from three subjects viz English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Ability. The students get 1 marks for the correct answer while 1/4th is deducted for every wrong answer.

How to prepare for IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam?
The students who are preparing for the IBPS clerk preliminary examination should keep in mind the following points to ace the examination:
- Make a timetable and mark timing for each subject before starting the preparations.
- Go through the syllabus and mark your strong and weak points accordingly in all the three subjects.
- Read daily news editorials to ace the vocabulary and grammatical errors.
- Try to first clear the basics of the quant section and then solve a lot of questions of same.
- Practice puzzles and seating arrangement of easy to moderate level to make your preparation strong.
- Attempt at-least 20 mock tests before the examinations to avoid any problem in the examinations.
