IBPS RRB 2020 Exam Day Guidelines

Institute of banking personal selection (IBPS) has issued various guidelines for the students as precautionary measures during this Pandemic. Every candidate has to follow certain guidelines to give the examination, else they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. These guidelines are made while keeping the candidate’s safety in mind. The very first thing is to install the Arogya Setu App on your mobile phones. In case of non-availability of mobile phone, submit a written declaration according to the format provided by IBPS. Secondly, make sure to wear a mask. There are various instructions you need to follow before appearing for the exam.
As IBPS RRB 2020 Preliminary examination is going to be held on 12th and 13th September 2020. Here, we are providing you a reminder about the guidelines issued by the IBPS.
Exam Day Guidelines Issued by IBPS
Installing the Arogya setu app
- Download the Aarogya setu app on your smartphone and register yourself.
- All the candidates must install this app.
- This App will help you to identify any risk factors around you.
- The security guard will check the level of risk of every candidate before allowing them to enter the examination center.
- In case if your risk level is high or moderate, you won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall.
- If the candidate doesn't have a smartphone, then the candidate will have to fill up a signed form and show it to the security guard.
- After getting your risk level verified, you need to switch off your mobile phones.
- The temperature check of all the candidates will be done with the Thermo-guns before entering the examination hall.
- Your temperature should be less than 99.14° F.
Social Distancing
- Each candidate has to follow the social distancing norms when entering in the IBPS RRB 2020 exam center.
- IBPS will arrange different time slots for the reporting of different candidate groups.
- You are required to reach the exam center 15 minutes before the time mentioned in the admit card.
- The lab number and roll number will be allotted to every candidate via the admit card.
- Sharing any personal stuff like a pen, etc. with other candidates is completely prohibited.
- You have to maintain the social distancing throughout the exam.
Registration of Candidate
- Each candidate will be registered at the exam center by IBPS authorities.
- Registration will be done by capturing your photograph.
- The photograph will be taken in a standing position.
- Seat numbers will be allotted after the registration.
Items Allowed
- Wearing the mask is compulsory throughout the exam.
- Wearing gloves is optional.
- Candidate can carry a 50ml sanitizer bottle and a transparent water bottle in the exam hall.
- Candidate should carry their pen.
- The candidate has to bring necessary documents like, admit card, photo ID, etc.
- Candidate should fill the scribe form along with his/her photo in case of a scribe.
- Candidate must arrange his/her mask, sanitizer, gloves, etc. before going for an exam.
Other Important Guidelines
- A rough sheet will be available on each desk and no sheet will be provided further.
- The candidate has to submit the admit card, rough sheet, and photocopy of the ID card in the separate boxes kept outside the hall.
- Candidates have to follow social distancing while exiting the hall.
