The Staff Selection Commission of India will release the much-awaited SSC CGL notification 2020 soon on the official website. According to the revised calendar of SSC, the notification will come in December 2020. The Graduate level exam conducted by SSC recruits candidates pan India for the different posts under Group B and C of different Indian Ministries.

Eligibility Criteria for the SSC CGL 2020 Application
Age Criteria
The age of the candidate applying for the SSC CGL 2020 should not be more than 30 years and not less than 20 years. The candidates of the reserved category will get some relaxations in the age criteria.
Educational Criteria
The students must have completed his graduation in any discipline from any government recognised university. There is no minimum cut-off criteria for the aggregate percentage.
How to apply for Staff Selection Commission CGL notification?
The candidates who wish to apply for the post of SSC CGL can follow the given space to apply correctly for the SSC CGL application form:
- Visit the official career website of SSC
- Click on the SSC CGL 2020 link on the homepage,
- Post this, click on the SSC CGL application form,
- You will land on the registration page, click on new registration,
- Enter your Name, Phone number and email id and the captcha,
- Note down the Credentials generated in the registration process,
- Click on the application form of CGL and enter all the important details as asked.
- Upload all the necessary documents such as Photo, signature,
- Finally submit the fees of the application fees using the Debit Card /Credit Card/Net-Banking.
- At last, take a print out of the SSC application form.

Exam Pattern of SSC CGL
The examination of the SSC CGL is conducted in four tiers viz Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4. The candidates can check the exam pattern of the SSC CGL from the tables given below:
SSC CGL TIER 1
TIER 1 will be a computer-based test and will contain four subjects. The students will get 2 marks for a correct answer while there will be a negative marking of 0.50 per wrong answer.

SSC CGL TIER 2
TIER 2 will be a computer-based test and will contain four subjects. The first two papers will be compulsory while last two will be based on choice. The students will get 1 marks for a correct answer while there will be a negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer.

SSC CGL TIER 3
The third phase will be an offline paper-based on pen and paper mode and will be a bilingual test. The students will have to write an essay, application, report writing. The maximum marks for the tier 3 are 100 marks while the duration will be 60 minutes.
SSC CGL TIER 4
The last stage will comprise of a computer efficiency test and the students who don’t qualify this stage will be disqualified by the SSC Committee. The students selected for the post of an accountant will also have to appear for a data entry test and it is mandatory to qualify both the tests.
