SSC MTS Notification Out

Staff Selection Commission releases the SSC Official Notification on their official website on 05 February 2021. The candidates who are willing to apply for the Multi Tasking Staff exam or who have already applied for the same should have an idea of the exam process. As per the official notice, the commission will follow a twp stage selection process to filter out deserving candidates for the post.

SSC MTS Exam Dates
The exam date for SSC MTS 2021 exam has been released along with its notification. SSC MTS 2021 Paper-I is scheduled to be conducted between 1st July to 20th July 2021.

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria
Nationality and Citizenship: A candidate is required to be
- A citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee
- Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afganistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
Age Limit (as of January 01, 2021): A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age as on 01.08.2021. (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2003)

SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2020
Staff Selection Commission releases the SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2020 on their official website on 05 February 2021 and end on March 23. SSC MTS paper-I will be held from July 1-20. SSC MTS paper-II is likely to be held on 21-Nov-2021.The Detailed Exam Pattern of SSC MTS is given below:
Tier 1: Written Exam
- The questions will be objective in nature
- The questions asked will be bilingual in nature i.e. English and Hindi
- The candidates will get 1 marks for a correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong marking
- The candidates who opt for a scribe will get 120 minutes to finish the paper.

Tier 2: Descriptive Test
Tier 2 is a descriptive test and only candidates who are successful in the first Tier will be called for it. This will be conducted in the offline mode and the candidates are required to write the test through pen and paper. The candidates will get 30 minutes to complete the 50 marks test. The candidates will be required to write a short essay on any language including English as mentioned in the 8th schedule of the Indian constitution.
The selection process of SSC MTS 2020 consists of two stages i.e. Written test followed by a Descriptive test. The candidates who are preparing for the upcoming SSC Multitasking exam have to qualify both the tests to successfully get an appointment. Hence, for that, it is very important that the candidates are well versed with the SSC MTS Syllabus 2020.
