This exam is carried out by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). They conducts this exam to every year to recruit clerks for public sector bank. IBPS has released the official notification for the recruitment of 1557 vacancies of clerk on its official website.

Candidates between 20-28 years old can apply for exam but there are certain age relaxations for reserved categories.

IBPS Clerk 2020 Selection Process
- Submitting application and payment fees
This is done on the official website of IBPS. The candidate have to fill the form according to the instructions mentioned and have to upload signature and photo with the fees. Candidate should register him/her before the last date of submitting the application. Application fees for SC/ ST/ PWD is 175 and for general category, it is 850/-.
The web browser should be used to fill the application are:
- INTERNET EXPLORER 8 OR ABOVE
- MOZILLA FIREFOX 3.0 AND ABOVE
- GOOGLE CHRROME 3.0 AND ABOVE
The Candidate who is filling the application must have:
- A VALID EMAIL ID
- PHOTOGRAPH AND SCANNED SIGNATURE
- FEES
Note- All the candidates should give their UT/ state names as becomes easy for the candidates and for institution also to select the proper banks for a candidate in his or her own state or UT.
- IBPS Clerk 2020 PRELIMINARY EXAM
This exam is conducted prior to the main exam to select the appropriate candidates for the main exam. The marks obtained in this exam does not include in the merit list. This exam consists of three sections with objective type questions. The total time allotted to complete this exam is 1 hour. This exam is going to be held on 5Th December 2020, 12th December 2020 and 13th December 2020. The result will be declared on 31st December 2020.
- IBPS Clerk 2020 MAIN EXAM
The Candidates who qualify the preliminary exams are allowed to appear in the mains exam. This is the very important exam as this exam is totally responsible for your merit list. The merit lists are made state-wise. This exam is going to be held on 24th January 2021.
This exam does not include the interview stage. The final result is declared after a month of the mains exam.
The selected candidates are called upon by the selected banks for training and also for document verification.
Here is a list of documents candidate have to carry to the document verification hall-
- System generated valid online application form
- Photo identity proof
- Date of birth proof
- NOC from the head of the department if the candidate is working in any government organization
- Reservation caste certificate [ if any]
- Experience certificate
- Medical certificate for physically disabled candidates
- Printout of valid call letter
- Graduation mark sheet
Training period consists of evaluations which have to be completed to become a permanent employee.
