IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern
The preliminary examination is a 1-hour long exam comprising of three subjects. The maximum question is 100 and the marks corresponding to it is same. The students will get 1 mark for the correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer. The Pre-examination is only qualifying in nature and its marks will not be added in final selection.

Topics important for IBPS Clerk Preliminary 2020
- The students should focus on the Reading part of English as most of the questions asked in this section will be based on the reading skills of the candidate.
- The Reasoning section has a majority of questions from the seating arrangement and puzzles. The candidates should focus on preparing for these sections by practising more from the mock test and previous year papers.
- The quantitative aptitude section has to be dealt smartly as major weightage is given to the Data Interpretation and the number system. The simplification, wrong number form around 15 questions for the exam hence they should not be overlooked.
