RRB PO Preliminary 2020, 13th September 2020 (5th Shift Analysis)

The RRB PO preliminary examination was conducted on 12th and 13th September 2020 pan India. The RRB or the Regional Rural Bank exam for the PO cadre was conducted to induct students for the post of Probationary Officers state wise. This year the examination was scheduled on 12th and 13th for a total of 10 shifts. The analysis is prepared on the basis of the feedback received from the students who have appeared in the examination. In this article, I have included the overall analysis, section wise question asked and difficulty level of the exam of the fifth shift of 13th September 2020.
RRB PO Preliminary Examination Pattern
The highlights of the RRB PO Preliminary Examination are as follows:
- The total duration of the exam is a composite time of 45 minutes.
- The students will get 1 mark for every correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The exam will be held in bilingual format, viz English, and the official language of the state.
- The marks secured in the preliminary test will be only qualifying in nature.
- The students will have to clear the sectional as well as the overall cut-off decided by the IBPS authority for the particular state.

Quantitative Aptitude
The section had 40 questions which were spread into 4 major sub types i.e. Data Interpretation, Number Series, Number System and Arithmetic part. The students found the Number Series, Number System and Arithmetic part slightly easy as compared to the DI which was lengthy and calculative.

The students found the reasoning paper easier as compared to the quantitative paper. The puzzles questions were easy and doable for the candidates who have enough practice. The questions in the other sections were also doable and easy.
