A and B start a business with ` 30,000 and 20,000 respectively. After 4 months C joins them with the capital of ` 10,000 and after 4 months A takes away half of his capital. Find their profit sharing ratio at the end of the year.

$\therefore$ Ratio of profit share
$= \left(3 \times 4 + 3 \times 4 + \dfrac{3}{2} \times 4\right) : 2 \times 12 : 1 \times 8$
= 30 : 24 : 8
= 15 : 12 : 4
