The area of a square is three times the area of a rectangle. The length of the rectangle is 5 cm more than $5^2$, and which is three-times its breadth. What is the perimeter of the square?
Solution
Length of rectangle $=~25~+~5~=~30~cm$
And breadth of rectangle $=~30/3~=~10~cm$
Area of square $=~30~\times ~~10~\times ~~3~=~900~c{{m}^{2}}$
Side of square $=~\sqrt{900}=~30~cm$
Perimeter of square $=~4~\times ~~30~=~120~cm$
