- Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal launched Pradhan Mantri Scheme for Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises as a part of Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
- The Minister said, this centrally sponsored scheme will generate an investment of 35 thousand crore rupees and will provide employment to nine lakh skilled and semi-skilled workers.
