RRB NTPC Exam Notification 2020 and Exam Pattern

The Railway Recruitment Board has finally released a notice regarding the delayed RRB NTPC examination. The notification of the RRB NTPC exam was announced in March 2020 for around 36,000 various non-technical posts across various railway divisions of India. The students who have filled the RRB NTPC form were eagerly waiting for an update from the RRB officials.

NTPC Application Status
The RRB officials will release the NTPC application status on the regional website of the divisons from 20th September 2020. The students can check whether their application forms have been accepted pr rejected by the RRB authorities. The students only whose application form will be accepted will be given a chance to appear in the RRB NTPC examination.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern
The RRB NTPC Exam will be an online based test compromising of three subjects. The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes for both the stages. The students will get 1 mark for every correct answer while 1/3 or 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer marked by the candidate. The stage 1 will be only qualifying in nature and the selection of the students will be based on the stage 2 and the typing test.

Skill Test
This is a post-specific test and the students who have applied for a certain post will be required to appear for this stage. The students will have to type the matter in English or Hindi depending upon their choice of language on a computer. The requirements of the skill test are as follows:

RRB NTPC Posts and Pay-scale Notified
The NTPC consists of the Non-Technical posts in the railways. The railways have a lot of office work which is not compatible for the technical staffs. Thus, a separate post was created known as the Non-Technical posts. The total vacancies released are approximately 36,000 and the divison of the posts is as follows:
